How to Cook Roasted Chicken Breast

This recipe is to prepare roasted chicken breasts that require:

  • 20 minutes of preparation time
  • 15 minutes of Cooking time plus 5 extra minutes of resting time
  • Serves 4 people



  1. Boneless Chicken Breasts 400gms
  2. Butter/Olive oil
  3. Spices (Garlic powder, Paprika, Salt, and Pepper)


So there are a lot of people who prefer chicken legs over chicken breasts for their fattiness, juiciness, and tenderness. Usually, chicken breasts are drier when cooked but there is a way to make even the chicken breasts juicy. Here’s how you can get juicy and delicious chicken breasts.


Step 1 (Brine): Firstly, add a handful of salt in lukewarm water and dip in the chicken breasts. Leave it for 15 minutes. Then, take them out and pat dry them in a kitchen towel. The brining process gives that juiciness and extra flavor to the chicken. 

Step 2: (Brush): The next step is to brush the chicken breasts with butter or olive oil to make them sticky. 

Step 3 (Rub): On the sticky chicken breasts, rub all the dry ingredients (Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika) so that the coating is even throughout. You can do this step by placing the chicken breasts over a tray so that nothing is wasted while transferring. 

Step 4 (Roast): Now, roast the chicken breasts in a preheated oven at 450 °F for 15 minutes.High heat is preferred for that crispiness on the outer side and tenderness in the inside. 

Step 5 (Rest): It is highly recommended to allow the dishes to rest for at least 5-10 minutes to preserve that flavor. 

Step 6: Garnish and serve!!
