How to Cook Whole Roasted Chicken

Taste the crispy, juicy, and delicious whole chicken roasted with the flavors of garlic, herbs, and butter. 

Let's jump right to the recipe:



  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Olive Oil
  • Rosemary 
  • Lemon
  • Spices (Salt, Pepper, Paprika)
  • Dry wine (optional but adds beautiful flavor)
  • Parsley, Thyme (any herb that you like)


Cooking Steps:

Step 1: Preheat Oven to 430 Degree Fahrenheit 

Step 2: Rinse and Pat dry the chicken with a paper towel

Step 3: In a bowl, mix all the ingredients, minced garlic, butter, lemon juice, and wine, and rub over the chicken very nicely inside out.

Step 4: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika as well.

Step 5: Stuff the garlic, rosemary sprigs, half lemon, sprigs of thyme into the chicken.

Step 6: Roast the chicken for over an hour and fifteen minutes (75 minutes) at 430 °F. 

Step 7: Take the chicken out and let it rest for about 10 minutes for the flavors to be preserved. 

Step 8: Cut into pieces and serve with mashed potatoes, Salad, Potato wedges, Roasted Asparagus, or anything you like with chicken.
